loving the iPhone 4....

recently i had an upgrade available for my cell phone so i finally decided to take the plunge and get an iPhone.  now i am so glad i did, this is an amazing phone, and the best thing i love about it for me are the iPhone apps you can get for the camera.  i have always loved the look of old film photographs, and now i get to have that effect on my camera phone pics.  so great!  below are just a few pics since i have had the phone of all different effects i have been messing around with.  some of my favourite apps are:

Instagram: share photos and also has some great effects

Hipstamatic: turns your iPhone in a plastic film camera where you can change lenses, flashes and films

Magic Hour: here you get to invent your own filters and download ones that others have uploaded

Blendcam: blend together as many photos as you like 

TiltShift Gen: if you are like me, and can't afford a tilt shift lens for your DSLR at the moment, this is a great app to get the same effect without the expense.

Photosynth: take a 360degree shot of anywhere

Pocketbooth: just like a photo booth, take four pics of your friends with different effects

For a bit of fun too we have been loving CamWow. We have been out with friends recently just having a laugh taking funny pictures of each other.  really fun! :)

baby showered with gifts... ☺

last sunday i went to a baby shower for my lovely friend Emily.  i think this was only the second baby shower i have ever been too, but as of recently more of my friends are falling pregnant, so know it won't be the last! however, this baby shower was a very classy, high tea event and gosh, did Emily get a lot of presents for the little one on the way.  even added in there was a Burberry dress....so little Pettit-Coetzee is going to be très stylish from a very young age :)

Our friend Liza asked me to take some photos to capture the day, so in between watching Emily open presents, eating cake and drinking champagne....i took a few...

our lovely friends emily (one halve of I Heart Your Outfit) and ryan are expecting their first child in a couple of months...super exciting! being friends with them for many years, I was so stoked to have them ask me to take some shots of them both plus bump :)

as this baby will be a winter baby, they wanted some maternity pics that were wintery and beachy, so we headed down to the beach one cloudy, but warm, day to capture this moment in their lives.  

   

now all we have to do is wait for baby coetzee to arrive!  i really can't wait!

ok, this is a bit cheesey but i love this scene from the disney movie dumbo, which was one of my favourite films when i was little.  then, i used to cry at this scene every time.  so to end off, here is 'baby of mine' from dumbo :)
