The Sozo Foundation Golf Day Fundraiser

you won't believe where i am while i am writing this, probably the most bizarre place to write a blog post and maybe a first in history (?!)...i am sitting on the beach right in front of Super Tubes, Jeffrey's Bay (which if any of you don't know is quite a famous surf spot here in South Africa). as we are here in JBay, nick wants to surf and lack of internet connection in our guesthouse i am sitting here watching the waves and surfers and writing. very relaxing! :)

nick and i decided to take a mini break and thought the best way would be to enjoy the beauty of the garden route by taking a road trip.  its been really fun, and i will be sad when it all ends on friday as we head back to cape town.

in the mean time, i thought i would finally put out another blog post.

The Sozo Foundation (who i wrote about before) organised a Golf Day as a fundraiser last week.  as nick was involved a bit to help plan it, and was golfing on the day, i asked Anton & Elana, who run the foundation, whether they would mind if i tagged along and captured the day.

The Golf Day was held at Erinvale Golf Estate, which is probably one of the most beautiful golf courses i have seen (not that i have been on that many, but the view from the top of Erinvale is magnificent).  Jeff, who was taking the video for the day, and I manage to snag ourselves a golf buggy for the day and luxuriously roamed around the course. best way to get around when you have lots of equipment with you...just wish i could use a buggy more often on other shoots! :)

so here are some of the shots from the day.  the views really were breath-taking and lucky for us, and the golfers, we had good weather :)

Nick 'tagged' his golf ball so he could tell it apart from the others :)
Redsands was one of the sponsors of the day
